tattoo gone bad

i got a tattoo on my left leg about two weeks ago. it goes from my knee to my ankle and i have gotten many other tattoos and never had this problem.about one week after i got the tattoo done i noticed seeing redness come back and little bumps with white puss forming underneath throughout the tattoo. now i had a tattoo that was already completed that the artist did not touch other than to shave around what he tattooed and there are red bumps with puss pockets on it too. i used a&d oitment for three days and now have been using lubridurm without dye or frangrance. i have always done this before with no problem. i have tons of other tattoos on my body and have never had this happen before. i only have two other tattoos on my leg and my legs are pretty hairy. i've been told i i could have an infection and i have been told it is probably just ingrown hairs. so i cant get u a picture but if u could help me out and give me your opinion it would be greatly appreciated.

Go TO YOur Doctor.Maybe ease up on all the stuff your putting on it aswell.Let the air get to it.

i would definately consider the posiblity of a staph infection. that area of your body could be easiy exposed to cat hair and other staph carrying yucky stuff. YOU NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR! it can be very serious!

I'd take the tattoo to the artist who did it or a doctor. My skin breaks out from lubriderm, lots of little red bumps. I'd probably stop using that and find something else in the meantime.
