TATTOO HELP!!!!!!!!!!

2 messages · last activity 7/27/2008

I got my first tattoo exactly a week and 2 days ago. I know, Its so soon to be panicing right? I dont think so. Though I love my tattoo and all that jazz I am just concered about two areas that dont look so hot....its DEFINITELY NOT infected I know this cuz i take care of it more then u will kno lol and trust me it doesnt look weird in that way. My tattoo is on the inside of my wrist and it is a black peace sign with a pink heart connected to it. right below the heart there is a weird area that looks like a random CUT in my tattoo it literally looks like they pushed way too hard there and it is staying that way. ...its the ONLY part of my tattoo that looks strange and to be honest its pissing me off because its only a simple tattoo and how could the guy POSSIBLY screw it up?! then i think well maybe its not threw healing it is early to tell but i dunno this doesnt look like its going away...plus my coloring looks grey not black and i dont understand how it could be faded when I JUST GOT IT it makes no sense to me plus around the area that im concerned with is like a grey tone on the outisde of it...i clean it and make sure its perfect I put the ointment on it i dont understand what could be happening and i am just in a panic cuz i dont want this tattoo to be wrecked ALREADY especially where i have to look at it 24/7! to anyone that has had a similar experience PLEASE talk to me about it or if anyone knows what this is please let me know...i was wondering also if tattoo artists can push too hard when tattooing and like puncture ur skin? i dunno its a theory..HELP!
Calm down, you're going to be ok. Yes, it is possible to go to deep, but its too early to worry about it now. just keep taking care of it how the artist told you, and when its 3-4 weeks old, go back to the shop and show the artists the spots you're worried about. he/she should fix it for free. If not, go to a different shop. Any artist who isnt committed to giving you a perfect tattoo (even a small, simple one) isn't worth your time or your money. Find a clean shop with a strong portfolio, and one of the artsist there will probably fix it for around the shop minimum.
