i am an artist trying to get an apprenticeship i was talking to one artist here who i find the best around here and i talked to him and he gave me some good advise on getting a apprenticeship ( i never asked him if he would apprentice me cuz i never had a portfilio on handi am currently working on a new one) but he said one thing that would look good is just learning about the history and artists and things like that and talking to the the person you want to apprentice under about them and i cant find anything about history about tattooing except for when it all started but i want info on the greats like Hori Kin, Horiyoshi, Don Nolan, Ed Hardy, Cliff Raven, Greg Irons, Ken Cameron and Dave Shore if anyone could give me some links or information about them and links to where i can see there work it would be greatly appreciated
a good start is a guy called stoney of stoney knows how. he was damn near a midget in a wheel chair. he was one of the early greats.
