Tattoo ideas??? Help me

I want to get a tattoo that has symbolic meaning. My first true love broke my heart and I've more or less moved on, but I want to get a tattoo to remember the experience by. I want it to be something kind of unique or clever that doesn't just tell itself. It is really hard to think of how to capture it. Any contributions will be greatly appreciated.

you could get a heart with a crack down the middle with wings on the heart. To show that you've moved on.
