Help! I just got my first tattoo on my foot about a week ago and the ink is coming off. The tattoo is of a heart with angel wings. The heart is red and most of the ink has come off. Some of the other areas of the tattoo have have scabbed off ink, but the tattoo design is still there, but not with the red heart part. The area where the heart is/was is red and puffy but i am not sure if there is ink under the puffy skin but it doesn't look like it. why did the red color come off? could i have an infection? how long should i wait to get it retouched? help! thanks :)

You could have an allergy to red ink, could be one possibility. Would you mind describing how you have been taking care of the tattoo? That could also play a part in it as well.
