tattoo location

Hi there, I'm a college student who's decided to get a tattoo of an hourglass with the word 'whatsername' written in the sand (or somehow incorporated in - an artist is currently working on the exact design). It's only going to be a couple of inches big and it's going to be done in black ink. My problem is the location of this tattoo. Originally I'd thought I'd get it done on my front next to my right hip so that it wasn't too visible. However, I'd really and truly like to get it done on my left inner wrist. The tattoo has a lot of personal symbolism so it's certainly not for visibility's sake. Rather the opposite in fact, I'd like to be able to hide it when I need to. My current job doesn't care if I have a tattoo, but future jobs (and rather conservative parents) might. Any suggestions as to which location would be better and/or how to disguise a wrist tattoo?
Hello, I do not know your personal style, but as for me, i am more of a punky girl. Having said this, i always wear 13 black jelly bracllets (sp) on my left wrist (dun ask why :P). If i were to get a tattoo on my wrist, it would be covered most of the time by these. So, if you have something you would like to always wear (almost just out of habbit, similar to how people wear rings out of habbit), that would cover it when you would not want it shown, but at the same time give you the opportunity of having the tattoo where you want it to be. another option is getting it on your shoulder somewhere, that way a shirt will cover it, but it is still easily visable when you want it to be :) hope that helps Ducky
