tattoo on leg?

i am thinking of getting a tattoo on my leg next month and was wondering should i keep with baggy shorts? or what happens (never had a tattoo so just asking a few questions)

Loose clothing is ideal in any area that must be clothed during the healing process so the tattoo doesn't get aggrivated. Good inquiry- I hate touching up tattoos that had an article of clothing (such as a waistband) rubbing and digging it during healing.
