I am considering putting a tatoo shop in my Power sports (motorcycle, snowmobile etc) store. I am not a tatoo artist nor to I pretend or aspire to be. I simply have a great deal of respect for many artist out there and the immese talents that they have.
What I want to do is bring in featured artists for a one or two week stand. I would promote their stay, book appointments and provide accomodations while they are in the area. I feel that this would give people in our area access to artist that they otherwise only admire in magazines or online and would also give the artist the availability to those people access regular customers I have coming in and out of my store and allow them to work outside of their day to day norm.
1. Are artist interested in this concept?
2. What do I need to have at the store, what would they bring.
3. Potential problems?
4. What could be added to enhance this concept?
Thanks
Mike

if it is office away from exhaust fumes and greasy oily shit it could be ok .there use to be one in a harley shop here years ago ,and its still 100%better than a hair salon like ive seen a lot of scratchers moving in to latley ,hair salons and tattoo shops should not mix
Ya ... No Hair....Just ink .....( focus on Gallery Concept) I have had people say do piercing too ..... ( I know I'm gonna take sh!t for this) but I don't see the same identification to the artist (you can Identify a tattoo artist by the tattoo... pretty hard to i.d. the piercer by the pin.
My building is set up so that it is no where near the service shop and the area can be completely closed in for the shy customers.
