Tattoo Sleeve Price

Hey everyone! I know every artist has different price figures for time and detail... But I was wondering if someone could tell me a general ball park figure price on what most artist charge for an entire sleeve. About medium detail. Thanks
Welp, if I were planning on spending $$$ on a full sleeve Id figure between $4,000 - $6,000 probably, but who knows. I wouldnt have any hack do up a full sleeve, only the best. Luckily, you dont pay all at once, but pay 300-400- 500 per sitting. Here are some links to my right arm sleeve in progress: bird tattoos, lots of birds in a sleeve, a favorite bird tattoo, and another cool bird tattoo. We are about half way done. Ack! Where abouts do you live?
Wow thats a bit of money eh? Maybe I'll go for a half sleeve instead. I live in Hawaii. There arnt too many options for artist around here but luckily there is a really really good one named rockwood. He's from LA and a big celebrity favorite. You can check out his site and www.bigislandtattoo.com His stuff is very quality. I already have a tattoo on my forearm and I want to expand it onto something bigger, I have a beautiful picture in my mind of very nice black grey and red work. pretty roses and birds and clouds and stuff.
Its an investment for sure, but it will be there forever. Again, its also something one does over time unless yer loaded. If yer in hawaii, I would also check out Mike Ledger. He tattoos by appointment only. The number is 808-537-6868. Hes very well known in the tattoo world, certianly worth looking into if your thinking about getting serious work. Good luck, and let us know how it goes!
I sure will. Im goin in next week. Which island is that artist on?
hey jus wanted to reply to ur question i live in the uk and ive jus had my forearm done im starting on the rest of my sleve next week but im might be wrong coz i aint from US but i doubt it will cost u $4-6000. mine so far has cost me about £150 and that is with a real top tattooist and ive got loads of designs and colour. the top price u could pay is about $1000 i think. or if u were in the uk maybe less than that. i used to tattoo and i didnt charge for what i was tattooing it would be for the amount of time that it took and if u didnt want to spend too much in one time you could jus have half our slots and pay an average of $60 everytime you go. anyway hope this helps good luck and happy tattoing!!
My right sleeve has taken 13 hours and cost up to now, £430. I reckon another 12 hours to complete, the most I had in one sitting was 3 hours.
I had no idea how expensive it was when I went in to get my first tattoo, but the price is well worth it in my opinion. The only thing I regret is not having got one sooner! Funny thing is I use my own artwork commissions to pay my tattoo artist. I'm excited because I've got about $2,000 coming in soon, which is going directly towards more ink in my skin ;-)
Hey, if youe in Hawaii, i would definitely look into Mike Legder. He did a full bodysuit on one of my friends and its quality. Also did a ton of work on another friendof mine. He tattoos by appointment only and to see some of his work and for contact info, check out his site. Its www.mikeledgerinc.com Cheers!

Hey I am thinking of getting a 3/4 sleeve and was wondering if anyone knew anyone good in okinawa, Japan. or areound the oklahoma arkansas texas range. I have been trying to design it for a few months now but I can't draw for shit. So I will need a damn good artist, if anyone comes to mind please write me. I will be stationed on okinawa for three more years with mabye a couple trips home so it would obviously be easier over here. anyway thanks.
Miyazo is awesome, and if he cant help you he knows someone talented who can.
If you are looking for some sweet work you can go to Taro Bonten. He lives by Futenma. It is called Bonten Tattoo. Go out Futenma front gate and before you get to 58 go straight down that little road (pipeline) and follow it all the way until you go through a big dip and up the hill. At the top of the hill turn right and keep following the Pipeline road until you come to a flashing light. Go through the light and the road will curve to the right again. As soon as you go around the turn his shop is on the right. I hope my directions were good enough. Dudes in Mainland are good but it is hard to get up to them when living on the Island. Goodluck
Hey i'm thinking about getting a full sleeve in Tampa, FL i have some stuff done already but just moved here and am looking for a good artists in the area to use.
