Tattoo Sunscreen...

All the artist are going to hate me, but I lost my aftercare instructions... My question is: How old does a tattoo have to be before you can (with sunscreen of course) sit outside in the sun? I know that my sheet gave a number of weeks... I spent all day yesterday looking for tattoo sunscreen at tanning places. I found one that is a stick and had SPF 30 that is made especially for tattoos. It's the 4th of July next week and I want to lay around outside and enjoy it! I just don't want to mess up my new (two week old) tattoo in the process... Don't worry I won't be swimming for a least another week.
We have always told our clients no direct sunlight or tanning for the first three weeks....
and try to find some SPF-50 sunblock, look in the baby aisle...
