TATTOO: The Mark of Regret

So what if they regret their tattoos when they are older than 25? Besides, if they go to a really excellent artist that spends time with them FIRST to talk about what they want to get and the artist LISTENS to them first before tattooing them chances are they will not regret it. Tattoos are not for everyone, and I honestly DO NOT tattoo anyone without a serious consultation first-if I doubt what they really want or as a professional know there is going to be issues later I make them wait a month, if after a month they still want it...well then it is their choice. Also tattoos can be covered up....so there are always options.

I regret all the tattoo I got before I was 25... and lots of them are lasered and a few are covered. It hurts, but in another 4-5 years all those mistakes will be fixed...

Wow Everyone who has had sex before the age of 20 will want their virginity back! Everyone who has ever smoked marijuana before the age of 18 will regret not having their.....I forget. I mean cmon, save this forum for questions. Utter waste of 10 minutes!

Also, Jeanne, most decent artists are booked out a month or so. So that will give the person plenty of time to think over their impulse.

Why are you even posting? Seriously. Sure, I've had some questionable tattoos as a youth, luckily they were all small and easy to cover up. But you seem like a total ass. And since when is 25 the 'golden age of tattoos'? I got my first large tattoo (which later on became a part of my sleeve) when I was 23 and to this day remains one of my favourites.

I'm a SERIOUS tattoo collector, and I don't regret any of my tattoos and I'm 21. I bet most of the people regretting their tattoos probably got some piece of junk daffy duck flash form a shitty tattoo artist either in their kitchen or in a shitty shop and did not research any tattoo artists before making a life altering decision. Not to mention all the drunk idiots who go and get a tattoo and don't remember how they got it the next day. I would probably regret being a complete dumb ass too. Its those kind of people who cause older snobs to say "You are going to regret getting those tattoos when your older." Its called THINKING before you do something so permanent with your body! Plain and simple.

I'm not mad, just annoyed that some dude comes on to a TATTOO website forum and is telling people that they are wrong for getting tattooed. That's an attack not an opinion and should take his comments else where.
