so whats up with all the hate on the guys who tattoo at home? you say its not sterile. well how do you know that unless you see it. i carve sometimes right out of my garage and let me tell you this, i am not only twice as sterile but twice as talented at my work than more than half of the artist who run shops around here. hit me up!

Lets see your work then!...And I have no prob with anybody tattooing anywhere as long as they are well trained and are licensed...TAz
There is a world of difference betwixt someone who works in sterile conditions, protects themselves and their client, has a license and knows what they are doing, and some whackjob who boils his needles to save money chopping some poor teenagers chest in a kitchen with a kit they bought on ebay.
I've said it before and I will say it one last time...I do not care WHERE you tattoo....as long as....
#1...you are licensed and follow osha guidelines
#2...You actually posess knowledge and can do decent work>
#3...You are using up to date equipment, have an autoclave (no toaster ovens or pressure cookers) and spore test regularly.
#4...You don't do $20 tattoos because you have no overhead to speak of. That hurts the whole industry.
Dave Storm,Lord Mortis and even Paul Booth have worked from their homes, and, as I said, I have seen some pretty poor conditions at "professional tattoo conventions"and I have seen in home shops that were spotless and I have seen "professional studios" in which I would refuse to have my dog tattooed.
So lets stop calling us all "haters" just because we have studios..T
no disrespect intended gentlemen. and i am liscenced through thestate of north carolina but im in the navy and i dont have time to get into a shop down here. and to be quite honest i find it kind of repulsive that you do not have to have a license to tattoo in the state of washington
We are workin on that...and any other state that has no regs
thats good to hear. i dont mean to bash people so i wont mention any names, but here in silverdale/bremerton washington i have seen some pretty insane shit taz. i even saw a guy pull a liner, tubes tips and grip out of a f****** mailing envelope. i wanted to say something but i was a little outnumbered seeing as to all the bikers around. so i just kept my mouth shut and walked out. if there is anything i can do to help with the process of making it illegal to carve without a license let me know man.
But Sailor...people like that( too fuckin cheap to buy sterilizer bags
for christs sake!) Should be bashed ...PUBLICLY!!...In Missouri it took some underaged politicians daughter getting a bad infection ay a scratchers house before we could get any laws passed...In St joe mo...where my studio is located, there were NO laws or regs when I moved bacj here from LA...It took me over 7 YEARS to get anything passed ! And do you know what it accomplished?...NOT MUCH!...At least not for a while...only recently have they started actually enforcing the laws about tattooing minors ...all we can do is keep on fightin the good fight....Thanks for your post man...I look forward to hearing from you again...TAz
WELL IF YOU WANT BASHED THEN BASHED IT IS. IF YOU EVER VISIT THE SILVERDALE/BREMERTON WASHINGTON AREA. NEVER.... I REPEAT NEVER VISIT ELECTRIC CRAYON TATTOO IN DOWNTOWN BREMERTON. HEATH CONDITIONS ARE SO UNSAT IT WOULD MAKE ANY SELF RESPECTING ARTIST EVEN THOSE OUT OF THE HOME... PUKE.
BASHED IT IS TAZ - TAKE IT EASY BRO
