tattooing minors

OK. My mom wants to get me a tattoo for my 17th birthday. We live right on the Illinois/Iowa border, and I can't find a tattoo shop that will ink anyone under 18. However, I do look 18 and have for several years. I reallly want a tattoo but no one will do it. I'm tempted to show up and say that I'm 18, but I'm afraid they'll ask for ID and I'll get busted. I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble or get anyone shut down, I just want my freakin tattoo. Can someone tell me how to find a shop that will do this for me? I don't want any crap about how wrong you think tattooing minors is or anything like that. And I would preferably want it done this weekend, so if anyone can get back to me before then, I would appreciate it. thanks, Me.

If you have ready any of the posts on this subject you know that just ain't gonna happen.....is there some reason why you can't wait a few months for a tattoo?...Or are you one of those spoiled"I want what I want and I want it right the fuck NOW" people? Searching for a tattoo studio to do an illegal tattoo or searching for a tattoo studio that will do a good job....which makes more sense?.... AL....thats your cue ol man!!!

Ok ...allright ...There IS someone in your town who will tattoo underaged people...his name is Harry the Hack and he will tattoo anyone with a little cash or dope or if you are female you can probably get a tattoo for free!...There is a Harry in nearly every town...look for him!...And he usually throws in a case of AIDS absolutely FREE!!

not helpful. And NO, I am not a spoiled brat, thank you very much. I just think it's stupid that someone who is under 18, yet just as mature, if not MORE mature than those that are over 18, cannot get a freaking tattoo, with her mother by her side and a signed release form. And by the way, I will turn 17 in less than ten days. So I would have to wait over a year. so if you're not going to be helpful, then I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT.

Hey um the kid that wants a tat wait dude until u turn 18 bro trust me if u go through a rush to try to get a tattoo u will probably go to a place that will do illegal tattooin and then u most likely get a fucked up tattoo. trust me im speaking from experience. o yea and also u gonnna regret that tattoo later on the years go by because wen u grow ur aspects of things change dude IM JUST TRYING TO HELP U BEFORE U DO SOMETHING STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!
