TattooNOW Interview series

I thought that I will put up a topic about the interviews that Gabe is kind enough to let me do. The first interview that I did was with finnish realism guru Petri Syrjälä Then it was time to get English Johnny underneath the spotlight. Many maybe havent heard about him, but he does posses the skill to become great. As long as he gets clients that think the same way. More is coming and hopefully with some BIG names. And of course anybody else who deserves it. So please leave comments about the interviews if you have anything in mind Thank you :)
thanks a ton for your hard work, i really liked reading them. will be looking forward to the upcoming interviews. also, whoever put up that video with Nikko - a huge thank you for that. i loved it and it has re-affirmed my choice to wait as long as necessary to get an appt for a sleeve. how about an interview w/ Taz next???
Thank Gabe for the oppretunity. I just "work" here ;) The video was put up by Gabe. And Nikko is a great artist. It will pay of to wait :)
Theres more Nikko video coming soon. 2 more parts of that interview. Quite excited by who PDC has lined up for more interviews! He is well worth whatever wait he has. Sleewell, I have absolutely no desire to interview an artist who makes it very difficult to see their portfolio. Ah, #@$% it, heres the official TattooNOW Interview with Taz: Taz, can you please post a link so I can find say 20 of your tattoos and 10 of your pieces of original art?
Just thoiught id say thanks for the interview PDC . It was alot of fun. Looking forward on doing more of those colorful portraits. thought I give
No, thank you :) Interviews are two part deal, and they can only be good if the interviewer feels that the artist is good too. As you definetly are. And its kinda cool when you get to inteview people like you (as its others too of course). People who are ready to bloom. Everyone would like to get to be regulars with people like Devries, Baxter, Carlton etc. when they are just starting out. Then it will be really cool to know that you have been part of the artists life when they are just moving under the rader and are ready to explode. It feels magical.
New interview takes over the pixel world. This time is the boys from Helsinki Finland, from the shop called Legacy Tattoo. Here it is. They straight and with a happy face. Enjoy.
Hahah :D I meant to say, they TELL it straight :)
Gosh NO! I am not anywheres NEAR good enough to be lumped in the same class as these guys/gals...that would be like entering your old beat up station wagon in a custom car show! But thanks anyway and keep up the grat interviews we all enjoy them!
Relating to these interviews, English Jonny just took best of the day at Altered Skin 07. Good job bro! And I bet this wont be the last time :) Heres the tattoo.

Jonny has rocked more new stuff. First a wicked Cheshire Cat that he did some time ago. It took him only 3 hours and considering the size and color... I salute him. He is becoming what I knew he can become. And thats why Gabe also said that let interview him, because theres lots of raw talent in him. Heres the cat. Here are pic of a in progress backpiece, thats ALL custom stuff, that he has done just now. Has a great cartoony vibe in it. And another one is a horror piece of a dead zombie girl that is bright as HELL! You can also see the similar background that Jonny uses in his other pieces. I think its a bold move for a artist who is somewhat still in the beginning stages of his career, to use a trademark, or soon to be one. Good stuff and shows real skill and imagination. You can get catch Jonny in Blackball Tattoo in 3126 N. Jefferson Ave. Midland MI. Phone (989) 835-6672 www.myspace.com/lokiean
Ok. A new interview is finally up on the site. This time I had the pleasure interviewing Nate Beavers because he has just opened a new shop in Houston, called I-45 Ink. Great guy and really down to earth. Comments are welcome. Check it out
For future interview´s. Who would YOU like to see interviewed and why? Of course not all artists just sit in front of there computers and wait for someone to interview them, so not everything can happen like "snap", but still it would be nice to hear what people would like to read.
