tattoos and a.i.d.s.

I am a tattoo artist of 23 years and have just found out that i have aids.Do you think i need to tell my clients even if i continue to practice safley like i always have?

If a client didnt have enough respect o tell me (even tho everything is by the books) id be offended.

i'm terribly sorry to hear about that man, tattooist are high high risk for AIDS and Hep C, and it really does suck. but yes, i totally think you should tell your clients, if a surgen or Doctor has aids they can't even practice medicine anymore, and i'm sure you do practice safe tattooing, but you are indangering others lives, and i definitly would tell them! it may drive away some buisness, but if i was being tattooed i would want to know!

i am pretty sure you could collect unemployment as a result of this being "special circumstances" or something else. but you need to tell your clients. you most likely could be jailed for failing to tell them. and you were most likely diagnosed with hiv, not aids. the two are different.
