Tattoos in films?

I was just watching (for the 5th time) Once Were Warrior (anyone see it?) Major tribal tats within the cast (all Maori). Any flicks come to your mind on tatted charactors?

Dusk til Dawn...george clooney...tribal....you have any idea how many people wanted that damn tattoo after the movie came out? Reign of Fire...Matthew Mcconnaghy (sp?) the movie "tattoo"...Bruce Dern Red Dragon...Ralph Fiennes Blade...Wesley Snipes Strangeland...Dee Snider Damn! I am spendin my Friday night (cinco de Mayo to boot!) sleevin out the shop bitch and tryin to think of old movies with tattooed actors! DAMMITTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TAz

There was a sleeved out guy in the prison in Goodfellas. Yes, I remember clearly and it still happens from time to time when people come in and say, "I'm thinking of doing a tribal sleeve, did you ever see From Dusk 'til Dawn? Thats what I want"

There is a movie that Sean Penn recently played in that is daughter had been killed and he ends up offing his best friend thinking he did it....anyways he had a giant "tribal" cross on is back with a shamrock in the very middle.... Anyone remember the name of the movie? I'm having a moment....

i believe there was an awesome filip leu skull backpiece on a guy in 12 monkeys. also romper stomper a lame skin head movie had some tattoos in it along with that other skinhead movie i cant remember the name of where the kids older brother went to jail after crushing a guys jaw on the curb in the beginning.

i knew some other sicko would remember the name. thanks taz. theres also that guy dan trijilo (?) whos always the bad ass mexican gangsta guy that has the big woman w/ sombrero on his chest. cant remember anything hes in but hes in a ton of stuff. im sure taz will pull something out of somewhere...lol

I can't believe I forgot all about Danny Trejo. As far as I know, he's been in over a hundred films, did several years in the joint prior, and tours highschools telling kids the dangers of being in gangs, etc. My favorite quote from him is "it's better to aim for the moon and miss than to aim for the gutter and hit it." Films include: Desperado, Once upon a time in Mexico, Heat, From Dusk 'til Dawn (1,2, and 3), Con Air, Spy Kids, Anchorman, Devils Rejects, several others in addition to many appearances on TV shows.
