tattoo

i had a tattoo done on my foot 1 and half weeks ago their is no puss or discharge but this thing hurts worse that when it was done its not swollen or red i have another tattoo on my ankle never had this problem is this normal for a tattoo on top of your foot! is all this pain and soreness normal i cant where a shoe if my kids tap it i almost come to tears and my foot feels stiff. i wash it with antibac soap 3-4 times a day and i use tattoo goo on it nothing else!

Well- guess its too late to tell you not to get a foot tattoo...that usually is a bad spot due to wearing shoes etc...BUT from what you describe it is just normal soreness as it seems that you have healed well (again I am only going by what you said) worse case go see your artist and ask him/her, maybe they could give you some suggestions. In either case, I would say that 1 week its really still a "fresh" tattoo-and it will be sore for a bit, remember that your feet are the farthest from your heart so it heals slower than other parts of your body, AND we use them EVERY DAY so the skin is CONSTANTLY being stretched. If you start seeing any signs of infections (red, swollen, broken or enflammed skin) go see your md, otherwise talk to the artist and let them know what is going on as well.

yuppers agree with post above feet SUCK! elevate as much as possibile tylenol or ibuprophen for pain along with just relaxing keep it up as much as ya can.pretty norm for a foot.
