The Truth About Tat Gone Ink

20 messages · last activity 6/11/2006

Haha, I know this seems like its becoming repetitive or redundant with me, (probably just to TAz) but seriously, the word needs to get out about Tat Gone. The truth of the matter is, there are alot of misconceptions with it. I'll be the first to tell you, and no I'm not a representative for the shit, and yes I know that results are different with everybody, IT DOES WORK. And if done properly, if taken care of to a tee, it WILL NOT leave scarring. I have gotten 2 treatments of this stuff, the first time, I was abit discouraged when the scab/shell came off, 7 days after treatment. My tattoo was gone in some places, the ink completely gone and red, irritated skin in its place. However, for the most part, my tattoo was still whole. I thought this shit was supposed to be some kind of miracle. But, having the mind set I did, decided to go back in for a second treatment, determined to get this shit off my arms. Well, I'm happy to say that after my 2nd treatment on Tuesday, June 6th, I can already see through parts of the shell/scab peeling away that my tattoos (one on each arm) are mostly GONE without a trace. There is however a chance that I may have to go back for one last touch-up treatment to get rid of the last bits of ink, BUT overall it has worked VERY well. As for recommendations, yes I HIGHLY recommend it, haha. TAz, get back to me whenever you use it on yourself again bro, I really would like to see what your results are, negative or positive because I'm highly aware that results with everybody are all different. Thanks in advance man.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Do not use Tat Gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Please give a reason why not to use it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think we have all had something to say about this product in the past.... again I will not endorse it, or even recomend it. It would seem to me that if this product has different results for different people, then its cosistancy and quality would seem to be in question, to the people who are using this product, do you even know what its chemical composition is?? if not, WHY WOULD YOU PUT A UNKNOWN FORIEGN SUBSTANCE INTO YOUR SYSTEM? I am going to have a sample of this product sent in for lab analysis, I will update everyone when I receive the results. The AMA does not support this product. Nor do I. the only acceptable form of tattoo removal that is endorsed by the AMA, and the FDA is lazer removal products that have scammed the american public...... Pet Rock Diet Pills X-ray glasses Tat-B-Gone with the promises that this product claims a few other famous promises come to mind..... Trust me... I will not send american boys to war... The check is in the mail... I wont cum in your mouth...... thats all I have to say. Mortis
Pure...Hey whats up man....I have got an order on the way...as you know this process is NOT an overnight thing but I WILL try it again...mostly because of the result you claim in your posts. I have no vested interest in this product one way or the other but as a tattoo artist believe me that if this product works I will be the first to use it in my studio....however one or two positive results are just NOT enough when compared with the dozens of BAD results I have seen....Being a relatively new product without YEARS of testing and PREDOMINANTLY positive results I will not be recommending this stuff OR using it on my clients anytime in the near future. Although you claim to have had good results ( and I have no reason to doubt you) you are but ONE satisfied user out of MANY dissatisfied people....Yes it may have worked quite well for you and there is nothing wrong with you saying so, however to urge others to try this product while it is still basically an experimental process without evidence of long term effects may not be appropriate...... at least at this stage. I do appreciate your posts and your opinion but when it comes to MY clients I will err on the side of caution EVERY time. A shop here in the Midwest is, as we speak,is being sued for the disastrous results of the use of this product...I will name no names here ...if you are curious court records are public and if you research you can find info on this and what I understand are over a dozen other lawsuits having to do with this product...I realise that although we live in a litigious society and that some if not all of these cases could be frivolous at best....I firmly believe that where there is smoke there is almost always fire! We would still like to see pics, before and after of YOUR removal. TAz
Yes lets see some pic of this as someone who does tattoo removal with a q-yag 5 system I strongly have doubts about this.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Please give a reason why not to use it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -----Its bad stuff. Please give a reason why to use it? I have a couple I regret.More on the placement of the tattoo, rather than the design. Maybe I have one I regret but I just got more to keep my mind off of the one.
Hey,that was a haiku.
I have used it and it has worked for me every time ....in varying degrees ,of course. .....i would also like to see the results of your lab test. Where would you send it to? Can you just look in the phone book for something like that, or do you know somebody?
You could find an Labratory that does independant testing in any major city in the US. the costs for an independant labratory test can be quite expensive, but I do have a friend that is a lab scientist, who has already concluded the test for me. I am amazed at the results, I can see how the product could work, but there could be serious health risks in using it. The active ingrediant is Hydroquinone. Hydroquinone is created by molecular bonding of a chemical called hydroxyl and benzine, benzine is a very pure petrolium, while hydroxyl is a weak acid. it is also known as p-Benzenediol, 1,4-Benzenediol, Dihydroxybenzene, 1,4-Dihydroxybenzene, Quinol Hydroquinone is used in alot of products, and is most widely used as reducing agent in Photo development. It has been used in human medicine as a TOPICAL application to reduce skin color, this practice has been banned in several countries because of serious cancer risks. Hydroquinone is listed as Harmful to exposure on MSDS, and is listed as a catagory 3 carcinogen, and a catagory 3 mutogen......Carcinogens may cause cancer by altering cellular metabolism or damaging DNA directly in cells, which interferes with normal biological processes, a mutagen is an agent that changes the genetic information (usually DNA) of an organism and thus increases the number of mutations above the natural background level. I have also learned the the FDA is currently concidering banning this product, just as tatex was banned. NIOSH (national institute for occupational saftey and health has a sheet on Hydroquinone, and heres the link to it: http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/npg/npgd0338.html now seriously, I do not recomend this to be used, I do not believe it is worth the risks involved just to be rid of a bad tattoo. And to all you fucks that dont want to believe the harsh reality of these findings, then go ahead and use it, and when your childeren are born mutated, dont cry, its your own fuckin' fault. Mortis
If you don't like your tattoo, instead of putting a possibly cancer causing, toxic substance into your body, find a good artists and get a cover-up.
Well there ya go and thanks to you Mortis I am gonna cancel my order right now...no way that crap is goin in my skin...or my clients!! MY GOD!!!!After reading up on that chemical it is also commonly used for removing enamel on jet airplanes!!..JESUS!!!
the main factor you're probably forgetting here is...hmmm...the skin REJECTS the product therefore there is no toxic substance Hydroquinone that lies dormant in your skin besides Tat Gone Ink only uses a the legal amount of Hydroquinone allowed in the US as does other topical tattoo removal products, jesus christ.....get real you will not spawn mutated babies from having Tat Gone Ink tattooed into your skin and then having your body reject it 1-2 weeks later, please... As for the cancer risk, that is LONG-TERM use my friends, long-term...hey why not band cigarettes? They cause cancer. Or how about just not allowing people to go out into the sun at all? Come on
You go right ahead and use it my friend...after the research Mortis has done ( among others )I think I will have to give it a passer....but you gotta do what ya gotta do...I prefer to eliminate what risks I can when it comes to my wore out ol bod!! I'm not tryin to be an alarmist, just prefer to err on the side of caution...especially with the FDA gettin ready to pull the plug on the stuff....my clints mean too much to me to insert another risk into the mix...Overly cautious?...maybe but even if the risk is only one in a million I consider that too high for the people who provide me with my living and trust me and support me and my art. Anyway Pure...stay in touch and let us know how it goes...and post some pics or even e-mail em to me I'd really like to see the results...oh and if ya DO grow a third eye or ya grow gills or something send pics of that too!!...LOL!!!!!!...TAz
Gahhh, okay TAz my man lol Just that I nearly SHIT myself when I saw that post, but upon research of it I'm kinda calmed down now but holy fuck, the way that post was put, it was almost like saying "if you get this done, you'll automatically get cancer" Either way its hard for me to believe that from a few treatments of this stuff one will automatically develop mutation or cancer or anything along those lines, especially as the product doesn't lie dormant in you and is rejected within a few weeks, but oh well I'm no fucking biochemist or whatever, who knows...

And we are in complete agreement about the most important thing...neither of us are chemical engineers and since we are not and do not really understand the risks involved it is my opinion that a prudent approach would be to avoid the risks...I will!!...T
from what i've known about this stuff, yeh it gets rid of your tattoo but it leaves basically a bleached look... like whatever tat you had, for example, let's say you had a crescent shaped moon... from using this you'll still have a crescent shaped moon, but only diff. it will be white... i've seen pics of ppl who have used this, and their tat image is still there in shape form, but the color is gone, it's just white... that's just what i've seen though..
Im glad to hear your not going to use this stuff TAz . I know there is no way in hell I'm using it, someone said there was a "legal" amount of the active ingrediant in it. the question I have is why is it a "legal" amount? I know these results arent what alot of people wanted to hear, and just for the record I was not implying that you automaticly get cancer, but the risks you take are extremely high, you would think that most people would not use it after reading the results. but I know there will still be some poor bastard that does, even after knowing the risks. glad I could help on this one Mortis
Hey Mortis ...gimme an e-mail will ya ?...And thanks again...I never would hwve thought to have done the analysis route!...T
