the water controversy

How long do you wash a tattoo for, and does everyone recommend using water? I know you have to get the blood and plasma and goop off but i am so worried about ink loss and fading and i know water is the enemy. Or do they just mean excess water?
water in excess is not good for you as far as ink loss your body is going to reject or (kick out) the ink its not going to accept genetics in work there but all people go through that.just had a client call the other day said hey im loosen black ink yup norm during healing i call it the kick out .so wash said tattoo at least 2 to 3 times a day and pat dry with a clean towel dont rub and follow you artist directions and you should do fine.
Ever notice how Krystof Erlich and myself almost ALWAYS agree on EVERYTHING....ITS EERIE!...But yeah wash 2-3 times a day lukewarm water mild soap NO WASHCLOTH!!! pat dry no rubbing Only wash as much as ya have to until blood and guck(Thats a tattoo artist technical term...GUCK)are gone. Follow your artists aftercare or we will hunt you down and gut you like a fish!...TAz
yummy sounds like some goood ol fashioned irish fish belly stew!!! now that be true.
