I can't say much. It's better than I can do but that's not saying much.

Ok you suck...but you can easily get better...your perspective is good...you need to work on shading...sometimes less is more...you also need to work on linework...try just sitting with apiece of paper and "pulling " lines ...never push your pencil or pen ...dimensionality is a direct result of two things...texture and shade...try looking at ordinary objects that have extraordinary texture and shade values...nature is best for this...plants, leaves,rocks, wood, water....If you have adobe photoshop open a photo of almost anything and then zoom it in really far til ya can't tell what is is...study the TEXTURE of the object...have you ever seen human skin close up in macro?...the textures are AMAZING!! Now go draw something ya slacker!

You're a H8R!! Put up or Shut UP!! (j/k) Thanks TAz! Yes, shading is my arch-nemesis. That's probably the hardest part of drawing for me. I keep trying to improve, and it keeps kicking my ass. I'll definitely try that Photoshop trick though. By linework, do you mean smoother lines? The ruler is my friend, so I know most of the lines are straight... Not all... but most.. Ok, back to the drawing board. :o)

Throw that fucking ruler AWAY!!!...Rulers are for drafting NOT art!! Whew! I thought I pissed you off there for a hot minute!!

But.....but...... I love my ruler..... and I'm taking drafting classes....so I need it.... it can't go away.........I don't know what I would do without it.......

Late, but not never. I like the abstract-y stuff a lot, especially the b&w. It could be a tatt for someone who wanted to look like a bathroom. I'd agree with the rest that with a little effort your depictions could be real good. But then, i'm a writer! Tee-hee-hee!

Ahem! If i may intrude... i only meant my bathroom reference in relation to the piece composed of squares (bathroom tiles?)... and maybe i should have made some connection to interior design and a previous poster's remark on tattoo choices. Which reminds me, if one tattooed a house onto one's left pectoral, then heart would be where the home is. Alas, my wit-muscle is all loose and flabby. But i really like the musical piece... i can hear it! I think if it had one item in colour - red or yellow, it would be a shocking-out poster. That's a good thing, by the way.

I also think it's a pretty good effort. Your perspective does need some work, but it could be worse. As far as the shading try always putting a dot where the light source is coming from, think about where the sun is, where fixed light sources are and go from there. It's much like the prospective lines you have working to help you out with the perspective but, uh, think about it like a length of silk coming out from the light source and wrapping around the object. Where the silk creases around the object should be darker, where it sits higher, there should be lighter areas. I know that's a sort of weird conceptual thing, but that's the way I imagine it, it's too hard for me to conceptualize light, I have to turn it into another object that I think sort of reacts in some ways like light. Hope that helps? Just be very aware of the directional refference, drawing lines out from the light source to the object helps you keep on spot. Well, I can't make any sense of this post, but I hope it helps you some, heh.
