tibetan writing

Go to google and type in tibetan translation... If you can't find it there ask a tattooist in your area... What's the deal with tibetan writing anyway? If you can't read it yourself maybe you shouldn't get it tattooed on you... Personally I might have told you the correct spelling for trendy idiot. What if you would have gotten that tattooed on you...
Don't leave such things the whims of a tattoo forum...
Despite the fact that some of us here are professionals...
You never know what you're getting...
Find out for yourself...
and be damn sure...
Otherwise...
Get it tattooed in a language you can read yourself...
What's this stupid fucking tibetan kick anyway...?

I'm not trying to rain on your parade... But it's pretty much your responsibility to know what you want for a tattoo... A tattoo artist is more than likely going to just babelfish it or google it... And make a print from there... I would go do that myself and take it to the artist and get the design drawn from there... I may come off as a prick but getting tattoos that I can't read myself (in my opinion) is stupid because for one... YOU CAN'T READ IT YOURSELF... 2 YOU DON'T KNOW ENOUGH TO KNOW IF IT'S THE RIGHT THING...
I just don't want people to get shitty tattoos that they don't know what they mean... Or are mispelled... That is all...
I haven't had my coffee this morning and may come off as an asshole, but maybe you should put some more thought into this. As a tattoo artist myself, I've seen a ton of tattoos that were messed up because either someone wanted to be a dick, didn't take the proper time involved to verify sources, or just flat out didn't care and wanted money.
I'm sorry if you got the blunt end of this conversation but read the identity crisis tattoos thread... That will explain my points of view and the points of several other tattoo artists on this forum...
Thanks...
