yeah we seem to have alot in common. I want to try those fowler fusion machine too. Hope somebody will reply soon....I use some micky Sharpz too but here in canada good machine are hard to find, most of the supplier sell junk machine by experience i can tell you that. Anyway sorry if i dont help you, but at lease your not the only one the have this question. By the way i have a really bad english too.... lol
I notice with Fowlers machines, people are either very loyal to them or hate them, with little in between. I've never tried them, but if for some reason you choose to stay with Micky Sharpz, try the contraption liner, it's great.
There is so many opinions on machines. I really want to try another one and you know what more i shop more i get desparate. I'm looking for a machine that will pack the color in, solid, for a huge black tribal (the hole back). My Mickey machine do the job but im just curious about the fact that another one could be faster. Any opinion for me? Kisss
I own about six Fowler machines and really like them. I honestly don't have to tweak them or shift anything or play with anything. I literally open the box and use them. I have had some good success with his higher end liners and shaders. I must admit I really like the liners better. I recently bought a shader from workhorse irons and its runs so smooth. I also got a liner and hate it lol.
Hey! I just got the fusion liner. I am FRUSTRATED with it. D Fowler says on the site that you have to adjust yourself to the machine instead of the other way around, and he's right. I fear I'll never ouline the same. I have an invader and I love it, but this fusion is something else. I call it "the beast" cause it is sooooooo fast. If you want the challenge of learning how to line all over again, then get it. That's my two cents. I wish I could find someone that can tell me how to use it!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Luck! Mel:)
Those guys at the shipping and recieiving ends of most postal services don't get paid enough money to give a damn what's in the box they just threw to their buddy Jimmy in the truck. I wouldn't pick anything up straight out of the box and use it.
I've seen the fusions. Love to try one. Mel are you saying it's a liner that runs like super fast with little or no adjustments to speed or what? bit confused on that one.
The "in-frame wiring" also bothers me to some degree. Does that indicate an in ability to service the machine? The interference with the magnetic field that they say most machines with side plates can cause seems viable to me. I do enjoy the ambidextrious aspect alot. I'm right handed so I'm a bit lucky in that respect. But I've used some of Hotspark's left handed machines, it's a bit different to have even that slight amount of weight to the opposite side when you've grown accustomed to the other.
Although I am right handed, I use left handed Hotsparks every day and it just makes no diff to me either way....time machines are good machines if ya want an infinately adjustable machine. If your time machine is running too fastthen turn it down.
Time Machine are great machines when they are in hand of a professional. I played around with an "invader" I tuned it and it ran great. The fact that are "Prefab" doesn't mean you have to touch the screws every day. As a matter of fact they come ready from the box.
I was a bit skeptical about them because I never tried one but now I can tell you that they are as good as any good machine out there. The fusion model is a copycat of Moniz machines. So everyone else actually. At least he was the first builder I knew building those side-plateless frames.
