To those who have the EMS200

I just bought the ems 200, and tuned all my machines after it. It went pretty well untill i was about to do my first pice with it, the readings on the meter was wery different from the readings i had when i was tuning them. Anyone else experienced this?
Were you tuning with the needle and tube and rubber bands ON? The readings are very different when there is no load on?
Yes i always tune with tube and needle. Do you think it might have something to do that my machines had been running for a while, and when i tryed them after some hours that they went cold or something, i was installing new springs and a-bars on them to. Sorry for my bad english
Could be but the difference shouldn't be all that substantial.
I'm actually planning to buy this model, but is it better to get the ES200? Just use the traditional way, tuning with ears & see the ghost image of the spring? I was just thinking, just one drop or bang with this machine, it could mess up the caliberation of the digital reading.
What you think about the Pallino Mini Power Supply by Bicknee? Looks solid...
why buy the regular without the meter? tuning with eyes and ears goes a long way, but i can tell a difference, specially when im lining, and its useful to document the speed you want for different machines. I bought the ems 200 with a full kit with thru springs and my old irons have never run better, i even bought the green monster and it has quick become my favorite liner..
btw i used to use the apogee powersupply from timemachine, it is wery nice
