tounge ring

hay whats up i need some honesty right now i want to get my tounge peirced but i am scared does it hurt real bad no bullshit i got my belly peirced and that shit hurt like hell . is it that kind of pain or what oh and do they use a gun or do they do it by hand

im no piercer or anything, but work in a tattoo studio that also does piercings. and from what i have seen everyone takes it differant. no matter the size of the person or how many piercings they have. i seen people almost laugh, ive seen people black out. and cry.just do it. if your going into a place to pay for something to feel good and not hurt. your in the wrong building or street.

hmm... if I accidentally bite my tongue, it hurts like a bastard. I would imagine piercing my tongue to feel at least like a few more bastards ^o^ Also, they CANT be using a gun to pierce your tongue! Like how they couldn't have used a gun to pierce your belly. You're not even supposed to pierce your ear using a gun ( except earlobes ).

the piercer grabs the piercee's tongue with a pair of forceps and pulls it out (gotta have a clear shot yanno...and no wiggling allowed). Said piercer then shoves a giant sharp instrument, known as a needle but think 6 penny nail, from underneath and through the tongue...now you're commited. He replaces the needle with an extra long barbell...gotta allow for the swelling and ta-dah!!! For a few days, it'll feel like your tongue has been run over and then scalded....good times if your tongue doesnt swell up and block your airway...now you only risk foreign object aspiration aka swallowing/choking jewelry and 1000 dollars in dentistry to repair your crumbling molars but hey, thats an ICU nurse viewpoint..prolly piece of cake

i heard haing your tounge peirced makes your breath stink. is it true?

its not bad for your teeth unless you play with it alot. or if its pierced to close to your teeth. no, to heal it you use mouth wash, so it wouldnt stink. and it would only stink if you dont brush your teeth

just a quick pinch on the top and the bottom ,at first. then the next few days are the worst part,ie;swelling drooling not being able to eat solid foods or even chew for that matter. then its smooth sailing after you teach your self to speak propperly with it. not so bad at all. JUST DO IT !!!! if its too much for you then take it out. thats all

As someone who had their tongue pierced for the last almost 3 years, and someone with not much tolerance for paint, i barely felt it. The piercer pierces in an area of the tonug ethat doesn't have muscle in it, if you touch the center, kinda back, on your tongue, you will feel the little area. The only part you feel is the top of your tongue and maybe the bottom. As for your teeth, mine did NOTHING to my teeth, and nothing to my breath either. As long as you brush your teeth, etc, it's fine. It won't swell up and stop you from breathing, so don't worry about it. and, yes, i said had. I took it out maybe a month ago if not less because i'm gettin out into the real work world, doing theatre, etc, and found i could live without it. However, i did keep my nose piercing, and all my ear piercings, and plan on getting a belly ring and tattoos once i reach my weight goal! hope that info helps

I wore a tongue ring for 6.5 years. all my molars are chipped really bad. They are chipped from acccidently biting down on it while chewing food. It only happened about one a year. I wish I had worn a plastic ball instead of metal ring. now I'm paying for it.

kay well, i have mine dune fopr about a month now,, and to be cumpletly honest it dusnt hurt when you get it dune...but it defenetly hurts after,, your tounge will swell up,, my swelling only lasted for about 3 days though,, but your cud last longer...they do it by hand, and for me it took about an hour for the swelling to actully show.. it really hard to talk wen you first get it dune,, and when i got mine dune i really thought about taking it out cause it hurt so bad...but i thought i went to to much trubble to take it out, and i left it, and im glad i did!,, my sister is 15 and is thinking about getting hers dune shes scared but im trying to talk her into it.....any ways good luke and hope everything works out for the best xo mandi?
