Here are a bunch of stories about tattoo studios not wanted in their communities. Its hard to know whos opening the studios, but the towns certianly dont seem to friendly about it. I was very lucky that Easthampton was so fair with us. Its great to be able to concentrate on the studio and not local politics. Seems like there are plenty of places that still need to be educated about how talented tattoo artists bring quality people to town. Seems like its worth showing everyone a good time...

It sucks to think a town would have that big of a problem with a tattoo shop, but to think we live in a (state) that you can not tattoo in. We have a group called OBAC (oklahoma body art collition) a group of local artist fighting for the regulation of the tattoo industry in the state of oklahoma. As for now we are dealing with shaddy artist working through a loop whole in the law that still allows all of us to open shop but is completley unregulated by the health dept. The new regulation goes before the house rep. in feb. 2005 we need the support of local people in oklahoma to help us use our rights as americans to express our art as well as our rights to our bodys

Another from tennesse. We should make sure to catch the followups after the studio moved to town... Or other articles in the newspaper type press that are positive for that matter...
