I'm in the Madison, WI area and I'm looking for a great tattoo artist that is skilled in greyscale to work with me on a custom tribal-esque design.
I have a good idea of what I would like, but now it's a matter of finding the best man (or woman) for the job.
Any suggestions would be throughly appreciated. Thanks.

Jon Reiter is about 2 hours from Madison. He works by appointment only, so email me if you want to get ahold of him. Brian at Capitol City Tattoo is closer, and Jon recommended thir studio if you dont want to make the drive out. It looks like brian specializes in tribal tattoos, so hes probably your man in town. Check out his online portfolio. Their website need imporving, so tell them we sent you and we should redesign their site so we can bring them more business!
Have fun, lemme know how it goes, and shoot me a line if your willing to drive for jon(which I would recommend, Jon a well known tattoist who rocks out large pieces).
Thanks gabe.
I've visited the Capitol City Tattoo web site several times now, and I'm pleased to hear such high praise about them from this site. I was actually considering dropping by to see Brian's photographed work "on location" as it were.
You've piqued my interest, however, with mention Mr. Reiter. I'm actually in the market for a large, greyscale tribal piece along the rightside of my ribcage. I'd be very interested know his whereabouts (I make fairly regular commutes to Milwaukee, and I'm willing to travel to get a truely unique and killer piece) and to see a sample of his work. Any further information on Josh would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again!
Very recently I have designed two tribal cross modern design tattoos, they are black and white and this is a style I very much favour due to its slick, sharp look. I am a exceptional artist and will send you the two designs so you know what I can offer if you are interested
Best regards
Scott
