trying to find a design

Hi everybody. I'm trying to figure out what kind of a tattoo I should get and was looking for a few suggestions. I receintly had sugery to remove a brain tumor. Everything went beautiful and things are fine now. I want to get a tattoo to remember this time in my life and how lucky I am but I'm not sure what I want. I thought about an Asian character meaning life, some type of cross, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions??? I would love to hear what you guys think. Thanks!!!!

I think that surgery is one of the best reasons to get a skin rip tatto. All peeled back realistic like. It wouldnt be a tattoo to show off after your hair grew out, but you would know it was there. I guess the question for you is what do you want to remember and visualize about the experiance? The operation? The recovery? The discovery? What did the experiance mean to you and what images represent that?
