So...heard a pretty cool song on the radio today. Everyone has probably heard it already, but things take awhile to come down here. We're a bit behind the current music curve. Anyhow.. it was a remake of the Genesis song "Land of Confusion". Disturbed did the remake. It sounds awesome. And I am not usually a fan of remaking songs. BUT I think this was the perfect time for this song to be redone. With all the political discontent and overall feelings of unhappiness that most people are expressing about the direction our country is headed, the song fits in well at this particular time. And it feels fresh because of the twist that Disturbed puts into it. Well, that's the only interesting thing that I had to say for the night. theval

I looove that song. I certainly didn't expect a song like that to come from them either, (well, expect them to cover it I mean). But I agree, Good song, good timing.

YES! YES! Val!...I heard it and it kicks ASS!!!! I usually hate remakes too but this one was really good!... Al I blew the coat of dust off of my TV and watched that damned show you are always harpin about...that chick really impressed me!!! Her and the guy that played piano and sang..can't remember the name though!...the rest were basically hotel bar quality but it was worth it to see those two!!...Thanks Al...now I have a new addiction you fucker...oh and I am sending you an e-mail in just a minute with som e pics you may want to see Mr Bass Player!!..T PS...and hi to everyone else!..Smugs to all! I heard that remake a while ago, when I bought the new CD by Disturbed, and fell in love with it! So yea, bunch of family drama bullshit here... Jeebus Cripes, I got out of high school (and the shit that goes on in it) a while ago, I have no desire to "go back". Fuckin a. Other than that, same old bullshit. Jammin to some Apocalyptica (anybody who likes metal will dig em... Check em out on myspace...) and dickin around online...
