i'm starting to get into the tat business. i'm real good, but i need help tuning a gun for shading.

No, scratching is not getting into the tattoo business. As for us professional tattoo artists, we use machines not "guns". Tattooing out of your home is ILLEGAL. Obviouly you're not an apprentice because you don't have a mentor to help you with understanding the logistics of a tattoo machine. Put down your "gun" and go attempt to get a position as an apprentice in a shop. You obviouly don't know shit and shouldn't rely on a tattoo forum to teach you how to tune a machine. You should read the other responses to people that attempted to ask such information. We are not here to support scratchers.
