I am a twin and i love my twin brother were like best friends, were identical and we were thinking of getting the same tattoos of something symbolic with twins, but we cant/find anything like that.. anyone have any ideas?

My twin daughters really liked this Yin Yang design by Edward Lee on Tattoofinder.com, called "Have Yin Surf" or something like that... check it out... It could represent a lot about their personalities like the way they complete each other, the way their personalites switch back and forth and are alternately firey and calm, The way they balance each other out, bunch of stuff. This one looks really cool because of the traditional finger waves, but beware! There are a lot of really crummy, overly hippified, stupid looking Yin Yang Designs. If you do something like that it could be great, but pick a good design. Some designs are WAY overdone...

I have an identical twin brother and we were thinking of the symbol the (I think its spelled this way) Henkel Knife Company. It has two identical kind of stick figures joined together. It's cool when twins do something like this.

My identical twin sister and I recently got twin tattoos...We both got the chaos symbol on our left hip, and the triskelion on the right. Her chaos symbol is filled in, because she is very off-the wall and loud. I just have the outline on my hip. I have the triskelion filled in on my hip, hers is just the outline. The triskelion is celtic, and more or less symbolizes balance (we take it to mean order for us). We fill each other in, and balance each other out.

My twin sister and I have matching tattoos on the top of our feet. I did the right foot and she did the left foot. Then we took a photo of just our tattooed feet together. It looks like one person, not two. The feet take a little more work and patience in the healing stage (swelling). But it looks great. Of course, you could do the same thing with arms or hands.

Hey, well me and my twin sister aren't gonna get like a picture tattoo...we are gonna get some kind of phrase written in old english letters like i'll get half of it on my right lower back and she will get the other half on her left lower back and when we stand together you can read it...but it's gonna be written in latin so no one will be able to read it but us..like it will say "Always Connected" which in latin would be "Semper Iunctus"...so on my back it will say Semper... and on her back it will say ...Iunctus . We will probably come up with sometihng longer..but i didn't want anything to big..but yea that was just an example.

My identical twin sister and i are thinking of getting mirror image fariries. I will have one on one hip, and then she's going to have hers on the other side. Why not get a ying-yang with something like a tiger and a white tiger in place of where the ying and yang would be? They're still the same, but different in color. Orange one and white one. Just a thought.

Me & my girl are having twins and I am looking for a cool tattoo myself, my suggestion is the ying/yang symbol but the inside will be two embryos facing 69 the way my kids are now inside the womb.

I have a twin sister and we recently debated about getting tattoos also. After much deliberation and potential design ideas, we could not quite agree. We were thinking of TWIN 1 and TWIN 2 ideas and similar designs. We debated about having the tattoo on our wrists also or on our arm. Unfortunately other family members and friends were not to keen on the idea and felt it a bad idea to have the tattoo in a visual place, as this could affect future job opportunities. In the end I just went for it and had my tattoo done last Friday. I now have the following tattoo: 270 TWIN 380 – on my left foot (on the side). This reflects our date of birth and obviously that we are Twins. That way everybody was happy, as it is out of the way, reflects my love for my twin and I am well happy with it. My Twin is not sure she wants the same Tattoo and whether she wants it in the same place, but at the end of the day I don’t think you need the same, as long as you manage to reflect you have a twin and the fact you got a tattoo, shows your devotion to your twin anyway.

I am NOT a twin by birth. I am and have almost always been very close to my cousin who is a month and a day younger than I. She's blonde, and I am Brunette. Me and my twin sister, not identical, are also thinking about matching tats. We are talking about it for quit some time now. With me going to work abroad for a few months it is, for us, the perfect moment to get them. Because you twins know that nothing is more powerfull than the connection of twins. We even feel each others pains! I had blast reading all the comments, what a great ideas! My sister and I soon agreed that we didn't want the Chinese symbol or Yin-Yang. The first design we agreed on was a design of the gemini sign with a cherry blossom. But our zodiac sign is Scorpio. The flower that represents scorpio is a chrysanthemum. So now we are looking at a tattoo made of the Gemini sign and a chrysanthemum. Good luck for those still looking for that perfect design.

My identical twin sister and I have considered the breast cancer/Ford "warrior" to symbolize our twinship and the strength it give us. Kind of stupid to put a Ford "logo" on as a tattoo, but the image is pretty compelling...

In Greek Mythology, Apollo & Artemis were twins. Apollo was god of the sun & Artemis was god of the moon ---> Me & my twin got a sun with a moon inside on our wrists.

In my case, i lost my twin at birth, i survived thanks to her, and i want a tattoo to represent her. I was thinking a puzzle piece to represent a piece of me that is missing! any better ideas?
