What is happening with my tattoo!!

I just got my first tattoo a week ago, after the first day, my tattoo started to...uhm sort of leaking out, like there was a think line of ink outside the tattoo.(i don't know how to explain it exactly,cos my english is bad). I hoped it would go away and that it would be a part of the healing process,but it's still there, my friend also took a tattoo, we went together, and she also has this problem but not as bad. Her father has tattoos and the people she talked to (who have tattoos) all say that we have nothing to worry about and it will turn out ok. But i have serious doubts about that... can some one more about what it is, and if it will go away? i've been looking on the internet but i can't anyone with this problem..

when u write a message, it says tatto websites on top of TattooNow Discussion Board. that should have something. Brother had same problem but lik years ago so you'll have to check. my memory is a little foggy, mon.

Claudia, What you are experiencing IS normal. Some of the ink will "leak" through your pores but that will subside within a day or two. It's just a natural reaction by your body to do that. Continue to take care of your tattoo as your artist told you to and you and your tattoo will turn out just fine.
