What should the TattooNOW tagline be???

In preparation for a massive computer code migration I am redesigning the home page and navigation to be, um, a little more thought out. One thing we need to perfect is the TattooNOW tagline. Ideally its 6-8 words that explain the website to every user. Positive, something that differentiates TattooNOW from other sites (oh god, I cant wait to see what some of you come up with). the better the tagline the better the piece of art from Of the Maps collection will be awarded. what the hey, the tag line that pokes the most fun at us will get an award to... Im hoping to give up a piece of art worth $500+, so make em good!

and weekend passes to the Tattoo Gathering to anyone who makes us laugh outloud.

MJ, great metatags! Im embarassed that geek look at this code (but after the migration I wont be!). The tagline isnt going to be used for metadata, it will be the visible text right next to the logo that is supposed to sum the site, and its uniqueness, in 6-8 words. Dont get left behind was it for a while, but we need something much, ahem, better. great suggestions so far, lets keep em coming!

Oh, josey, your getting into the sweet spot... My best so far is 'Powering the largest network of tattoo websites" but both are a tad dry. If you spice yours up first Im afraid you might win... ha.

This site has so much to offer so it's hard to sum it up in just a few words. Gabe, to me, your idea sounds a little more like it's aimed at artists - like, "Hey, I want a tattoo website, maybe I should go there". I think that's great but I don't think it catches the attention of non-artists as much. My opinion is that most worthy tattooists know about this site. However, I don't think as many people that need to, have a full idea of some of the great artists today (most of them on here). I feel it should say something to the regular Joe/Jen that not only are there insanely talented artists out there but that they, too, can obtain this great art from great artists - who they can find right here. Maybe I live under a rock but it was this website that showed me that right here in CT. there are some of the best artists in the world (Transend, Hope Gallery...)...not to mention certain other out-of-state but still close shops. ;) They're all with-in an hour or so of me. If I knew that, I wouldn't have been content to stick to the few average shops that are in my immediate area. For me, Josey's suggestion is good but a little too...FAQ-ish sounding. Meaning, I feel like I'd come here to find out about sterile proceedures, what to look for in a shop, aftercare, etc.. I think you should play off the great name, TattooNOW and the great, high-end, innovative art/artists here. You have a very special class of artists being showcased here. I feel that's what you need to focus on showing people. Just something to think about...

Gabe, your idea didn't suck. I was just throwing my 2 cents in about who "I" (and who the hell am I?) think a good target audience would be. But you know much better than me what you want to do with your site. I was just trying to offer something to chew on. Anyhoo, biting off of Alex again, I still like this idea best but with 2 "the"s added: TattooNOW: Refining The Tradition, Redefining The Art I think this speaks to the kind of artist who you would like to have host their site here. And I think it also makes the tattoo enthusiast (big or small) wonder what's new, or should I say what's "NOW", in tattoo art.
