Where do you get your tattoo machines from?

Hey, just wondering where you guys get your tattoo machines from? Is it better to buy a kit first or to buy the stuff separately? Just wondering...

i'm still here kicking it online and i'm still wondering about this thread, so any help would be appreciated... cuase it seems like every artist i've known doesn't get his/her stuff out of what they see in the tat zine's... which tells me they get their stuff somewhere else.. kinda like how hairstylists will go to a place like Sally, that sell the discounted hair products and supplies... etc... just wondering if there's something out there for you guys, or where you go to?

I have seen your art...you have a LONG way to go before you even need to THINK about buying equipment girl....instead of wasting money on equipment you have no idea how to use invest that same money in art supplies, books and classes, go to tattoo conventions I am not trying to be mean K...but you have a lot of work ahead of you...I have even offered to help with your art and I have heard nothing back from you...maybe because I didn't tell you what you wanted to hear?...You have my e-mail...use it...TAz

Hey taz, no i didn't take offense to your post... but thx all for posting back... did scroll thru a bit but see nothing posted... maybe i didn't look far enough... anywho... the equip. wasn't for me... i was asking for a friend... i'll check back thru the site or tell them too actually.. as for my art, thx for looking... i need to buy a scanner cuase my webcam doesn't have the greatest graphix... plus i need to update my site... have way better stuff then what's up there... also am looking for Prismacolor pencils as always... am close to buying a set for myself... i'm totally obsessed w/ those pencils... once i get them, it's on!!! as for brush pens, i still have yet to find those.... but still looking... you guys peaked my interest on those... oh yeah, and i'm always looking out for those books, etc... Taz, i meant to get back to you, trust me.... see i got wireless internet.. see, a guy in my barracks had a Linksys, but i guess he moved out cuase i ain't able to suck off his net anymore... no more linksys=no more free net... so then i started getting on ppls encrypted networks, you know what happens there --> hacker wars... the library bans this website from me... so i have to either go stay at a hotel to log on or go to the mall... which means weekends or sometimes weekdays... i'm thinking about just signing up for some cable net so i don't have to leave my place.... anymore to log on at least ya know... it will make things easier... plus i been vehicle shopping like a mofo...
