where's the best place to get at tat on your body??

i'm getting my first tat and i was wondering where the best spot would be to get it. any sugesstions??

Everybody is a individual and so are our bodies. So the best place for the tattoo comes down to what kinda tattoo it is going to be and what type of body you have. Tattoos should flow with bodys natural curves and look like they belon there. So the answer is, the tattoo artist will know where it will look the best. If they dont know, then consider is the artist good enough to begin with :) Happy tattoo times!

i agree that it all depends on what your getting and the size of the tattoo you want. really i think its all personal preference. as for asking the artist whos doing it what the best place would be..id say pick a spot you are going to like then ask the artist what he thinks and consider the options. after all its going to be on your body forever not the artists. make it a spot you like.

and make sure the tattoo fits the body part. too often first time tattoo clients hyperfocus on size and want it smaller smaller smaller. smaller often looks crappier(for many reasons), so the first time clients are really saying they want it crappier crappier crappier. Wherever you put the tattoo, size the piece to fit the body part. You are on this site so you should be going to a professional (youve checked the tattoo galleries a zillion times, right?) and you should take their advice.

I think it also totally depends on the person. Although a good spot to get one is where your not likely to put on any weight so that the tattoo wont stretch.
