White Ink...whats the best?

Which brand of white ink is the best? The whites Ive had on me, dont cover too well. thank you

Well I have over 20 tattoos, care is not the problem. As far as how its applied...my body takes well to all colors except red and white. Mention was made of a really good white used on Miami Ink. From the finished tattoo, it looked really white. Ive been to three area artists, and the white does not hold well at all. Not all inks are equal from what Ive read. There must be a tattoo ink thats one step above the rest. Would appreciate any comments on good brands people use, relating to white. thanks, Bob

ive had positive results with starbrite....but the eternal white ive heard is really nice to work with too.

And I will say it once again...I have used Starbrite, national, millinium,dermaglo,fantasia...and many other brands of white ...they are all a bit different but still...if the artist knows what they are doing it does not matter which brand ( well ya gotta disclude the cheapo E-bay and Huck Spaulding and Prizm crap)of pigment you use.. Now there ARE some people who just do not accept white pigment however I have found that if the artist (and client) is patient and keeps putting it in in light sessions the difficult clients skin will eventually accept the pigment...There are so many variables invloved there just is no blamket answer and NO there is no "magic" white pigment" I am sorry if this is not the answer you were looking for but it is an honest one!!!

Here's an idea one artist has used, often on people of colour: add one drop of light blue to your white. From a couple results i've seen, especially on darker people, the blue hardly shows up at all, but the white has better coverage: no brown-outs, etc. I guess it might be slightly different on fair-skinned folk, but maybe it's worth a try. rasclarke

White is tricky and you need a really amazing tattoo artist to get it in right, they will know what ink to use. There are lots of artists in New England that use white successfully, I know plenty in Mass and CT but none in RI. Doesnt mean they arent there, I just dont know em...

someone above mentioned eternal. i tried a set of eternal and most people i tattooed came back really it faded really bad, i even tried thinning it. worst ink i've ever used. but i love intenze and stable.

I'm surprised to see you say that about eternal. Since the first tattoo I've used it on I've been hooked. Not only does it go in like butter but it heals smoother, easier and brighter than any ink I've ever used. To each their own and what works for me may not work for you but you're definitely one of the only people that I've heard have issues with eternal.

ive used starbright for awhile and wasnt impressed. i switched over to Intenze and fell in love with it. the whole shop coverted to it. Now im in a new shop and everyone is raving about Eternal. Starbright is not even allowed in our shop by order of the owners. Alot of bad reactions due to the red ink. No explanation though. I love the intenze white ink. its amazing and i havent seen it fall out yet. It goes in smooth. But for all the other colors i fucking LOVEEEEEEE eternal. Theres no work involved it falls right into the skin. Which means less working which means fasting healing and no scarring. theres a tip i got from a "guy" about white ink. but i feel reluctant to shove it out into the open. Do a little research on what white inks are made out of and how it deals with friction and pressure against stainless steel. Its quite abrasive. ...word of the wise. clean your tip often using white ink.

we have had some pretty good results with skin candys white girl white...also had some better results by mixing half white girl white with half royal dragon white with 3 x the pigment...

skin candy white girl for mixing and larger areas, white boy for the highlights, but only pour it when you need it b/c it will form a shell... CLEAN YOUR NEEDLES AND TIPS OFTEN when working with white, the needles will clog quickly.

if you know you job you will have your own ways of working with a white that will serve you well, royal dragon and skin candy are rubbish and wont have them near my shop, if you want a nice white with little work try premierk ... this stuff is real nice and covers great.. as for other colours there inks are pretty good and stay sharp and bright after and never had a problem i also use ? what do ya think im gonna share it here lol later j.b.

As far as that one doode rippin' eternal inks. He's crazy and I bet donut to dollars he never even used it. Eternal is some dope as ink. Every one of there colors are amazing. As far as white's I'm gonna have to go with Dynamic & Starbrite. I also use there yellows too, and I use a lot of Dynamic's color as well. They have a great black too. I have heard great thinks about Sun inks, but I can't give my input on them yet. I have however purchased a set and plan to try them out in the near future, and will let everybody know how that goes......But for right now Eternal is the ink of the God's!!!! Trust me I've been using for 3 years and threw down stable inks for it.

I have used a few different white inks and there is only 1 i recommend and that would be Phat Cat White its great. Try that one I can tell you, you won't be disappointed.
