Who do you recommend for a tattoo Phoenix, AZ

I am a male who is looking for a good tattoo artist for my first tattoo. I am thinking about getting a tribal tattoo on my shoulder or upper arm. Can anyone recommend any tattoo shops and tattoo artists in the greater Phoenix, Arizona, Valley of the Sun? That area includes Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Scottsdale, Tempe, and Mesa, and Chandler. What do I need to know in selecting a good tattoo artist? Many thanks to anyone who responds to this question. :)
