Wierd Tattoo Karma or Something????

Here's a wierd thought... I wonder if anybody else has had an experience like this... I sort of wonder if tattoos become a part of your Karma... or if they represent something about yourself that is not accidental... like maybe you don't pick your tattoos... maybe they come from a deeper source that you try to connect with on some level. Case and point... I got a tattoo of a serpent... symbolizing me, protecting my daughters, symbolized by two roses. There's more to it, but that's the short story. Now, I love snakes, I really do, but I rarely, rarely ever see them in the wild. But since I got this serpent tattoo, I run into the fuckers everywhere! I live in Colorado, and have never seen a wild rattlesnake in my life... way overdue. Since I got this tat, I've become part of "Snake Clan" or something, cause I've run into about 6 of the fuckers since I got the art less than a year ago, including one at my Dad's house that I almost fucking sat on! Makes you wonder if it draws something about yourself to it... all I know is, for the first time in my life, I'm seriously watching out for snakes!! They're not trying to do me any harm or anything, just all over the fucking place! Anybody else have any trippy tattoo experiences like that? Daddy Rose

I don't know man, I have 6 dragons.....................but in 20 years, I have yet to run into any................at least not while sober. Rattlesnakes on the other hand, I've probably seen a thousand by now. TCE

Yeah, Tim, that's what I mean, where I live and such, I should have seen a thousand by now, but never even one... then suddenly, now they are all over the place... Maybe you have seen a dragon and just don't know it... and fairies too... or maybe you've just seen Society for Creative Anachronisms people dressed like fairies running around. I dunno. Keep an open mind. But if you do see em running around dressed like Fairies... trip em.

lol.. love it Al.. And yeah, I definitely feel like, since I got my tattoo.. things in my life have changed. Now, I don't go around sitting on koi, but I do see the fuckers everywhere.. but then, always have. I just feel like, since I made the physical statement that all the bad shit that's happened to me is done happening... it's stopped happening.. for the most part. Anyway, back to sleep I think.. and why does this have to be such a long fucking number..?

Anyway I don't think tattoos are part of a karma, there is a movie that I don't remember the name about a guy that tattoos snakes and they come alive. Boy, i hope there's no serious tattoo karma in my future... the two twining snakes should be alright, unless they don't get along with the black dragon. I don't think the mermaid will have any trouble either, unless the cat gets ahold of her. But what happens if the faun tries to ride the unicorn? Will the phoenix eat the scorpion? Now i'm scared of becoming some new-age stoners version of "animal farm"! Now i'm thinking my next tattoo should be a pet inspector with a tranquilizer gun! Okay: to answer you seriously daddy, i have a feeling that when things are etched on your mind (which can happen during the tattoo experience) they might leak into the real world, and maybe you're just seeing snakes that you wouldn't have noticed before. As for me: i have about three more reptiles scheduled for addition to my zoo!

My first tattoo was a dragon. Then I married one. (My wife's Chinese Zodiac is dragon.) Now I also have a frog. I can't say I've seen more, but I saw quite a few before and still see them regularly.

We interrupt this thead with your irregularly scheduled geekiness. SCA people do not dress up like faries, rather they tend to look down on that. Renaissance faire people on the other hand, have been known to do so, occasionally..... er... well not all renaissance people, just a few. er.. well... maybe... just me. -looks both ways... ducks... runs.-
