never go to wingnut tattoo and peircing in anoka mn. It was the worst shop I have ever been in and I can tell it is run by trendy kids. I have been getting tattoos for 45 years, and this is by far the worst bunch of wanna be punks I have ever seen. We who care should get together and show these kids back to their diapers.

Hey Lady, maybe you just can't understand PROGRESS, but This is one of the very FEW shops I would get work done. Shane has shown me a level of Professionalism I myself strive to achive,-being a fellow member of the Industry. I say Get Bent. You were probaly a bitch to deal with!

WINGNUT TATTOO IS POSSIBLY THE CLEANEST SHOP I'VE EVER BEEN IN. IVE ALSO BEEN GETTING DRILLED FOR MANY YEARS AND FOUND THOSE GUYS TO BE FIRST TO TRUELY LISTEN TO WHAT I WANTED ON MY BODY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE AND CAPTURE MY IDEAS IN INK. you know what i got my first and only tattoo so far at wingnut and dan hooked me up with a design that i for sure like and you know what because of the workmanship of my tat i know that im connected to wingnut for all my tattoos so that guy can go blow himself. By the way how come out of every one i have talked to about wingnut says it was tight and he is the only one to knock it.

you need to get your facts straight. by far Wingnut in anoka and st. cloud are the cleanest, best run studio around. they have great, freindly artists with great vision for tattoos. if you've been getting tattooed for 45 years your probobly used to an old man with a long beard treating you like shit and blowing you off until you threatin to go somewhere else. times change. these kids know way more than you or any of the old skool shops ever did!

I do not know anyone at Wingnut however a guy called my shop and made an appointment for a touch up on a tattoo he'd had done there...he had moved to our town and didn't want to drive all the way back to Anoka.....when he came in I looked at the tattoo and I could see nothing to touch up!...It was one of the cleanest tattoos I have seen in a while. excellent work! If that tattoo is any example of their work I think it must be a damn good shop!...Taz, Painted Angel Studios

I soooooo disagree with the first message on this board and I really hope that no one makes the decision not to visit Wingnut based on it. I have been to plenty of tattoo and piercing shops around the Twin Cities and I have to say that Wingnut is one of the cleanest and well-run out there! They were able to answer all the questions I had about tattoos and piercings and were very willing to listen to any ideas I had. Notice that this person had nothing to say about the quality of the work they do. I recommend this place to everyone I know that is interested in getting anything done.

I ended up at wingnut after another tattoo artist at a different shop in town failed to show up for my scheduled appointment. The guys at wingnut treated me to the best service I have EVER received from a tattoo/piercing shop, I will not go anywhere else in town. Scotty is outstanding and I have no reservations recommending everyone to Wingnut.

You are out of your freaking mind if you think Wingnut is a bad shop. me and my boyfriend went to the saint cloud shop to get dermal anchors. Shane was VERY knowledgeable about what he was doing. he and all the other artists there care about the clients more than making a buck. I am going back there soon for orbitals. i wouldnt want anyone but Shane to do it.

shane is the best I've found, in the 10 peircings i have. i was the most satisfied going to wingnut and i will most deffinately be going back. its clean, they're cool guys and they know their shit.

I love WingNut! They are great people and also great artists. I will NEVER go anywhere else.

The first poster doesn't know what the hell they are talking about. Wingnut has always been great. Top notch employees, top notch service, and top quality artwork. If you value your body you WILL get all your work done at WINGNUT.

I have yet to go in and get my first tattoo but have heard nothing but praise about Wingnut. "Truly devoted to the art" is what one person told me. I've not gotten a tattoo yet becasue I want to find a place that is interested in taking the time to work with me and I WILL go here when it is time! The only thing that holds me back now is funds, not apprehension about the shop!

Well me and my boyfriend went to WingNut in St. Cloud a couple of weeks ago from a refurrel from a FEW people and I got told to ask for Joel. I loved the place and YES it was clean! And Joel was great especially because I was maybe a little too picky with where I wanted the piercing to go on my lip :) But I liked it there and I liked Joel and I WILL go back... I had a little difficulty after though because I had an allergic reaction to the post they said was nickel free that turned out to be, but Im going back today to get a free one from him, So I suggest going to WingNut if anyone out there is thinking about getting something done. --And lets stop bashing the 45 year old guy... maybe he DID have a bad experiance... so what hes 1 in 789319082175 that had a bad one, who cares!--

This is by far the CLEANEST and most professional place I have seen. Shane is very professional about everything he does and I would NEVER go ANYWHERE ELSE.

i seen this post and had to laugh...not from the original poster but to the fact that there was some innuendo that someone from my shop was the original poster...blah blah blah...i know i have had a pissed off client or 2 in 14 years of operation...even a few i have personally...leave the drama for miami ink or LA ink now...but i suppose its hard to get away from when you open 1/2 a block away from an existing shop carl from forever yours, the shop up the street

I'm a 44 yr. old mom, and I had my first tatoo done at WingNut in Anoka. I would never go anywhere else! Dan created the most beautiful butterfly tatoo. He's a nice kid, and he really knows his shit when it comes to tatooing. I am looking forward to getting back there because I need to gain some tatoo balance. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!! Mari

Wingnut was where I got my first tattoo. Jo did a great job on my shoulder and I'm going back there to get another piece done too. He was professional and knew what he was doing and worked with me and my design. Going back to the first posting, times change and not every place is going to be what you like about a tattoo parlor. Personally I love the place and wouldn't go anywhere else for my body art.
