Hey ladies, I just got a shoulder piece in honor of my daughters about a month ago. As it turns out, My wife and I are pretty much on the outs. As it turns out, She doesn't like me much. And definitely, not fond of my "white trash tattoo tendencies" even though it's a very classy $1000 piece. Should have known this of course, but didn't. Found out in "Marriage Counseling" the other day that she's not sure she ever loved me. "that way" Wow. Well, not feeling sorry for myself, I'm pretty tough. But would love to know this... Looks like there's a pretty good chance I'm gonna be on the market again, only this time with a big tat, and I like it. Won't apologize. I'm me. Just wanna know, however it turns out, that there are women out there who love good guys that love their daughters and have tattoos, hold down awesome jobs, are responsible and like to treat women well. If I know you gals are out there, I think I'll make it. More than that, Just wanna hear it that there are ladies out there that think tats on guys are hot. Help me out gals.

I'm sorry things aren't working out with your marriage. Sounds like the tattoo is the straw that broke though, not the prob b/c if she can't love ya enough to see past the physical (good or bad), it wasn't meant to be. a real man who takes care of his kids is the biggest turn on to a normal woman. My dh used to take our dd for walks on the beach and she was the biggest chick magnet out there! Damn him! While I'm working too! A puppy comes in second. Don't fret about the tat. Sorry about the split up. Your main focus (here i go) should really be bringing up your girls right now. Women will always be around, but your girls are only small for a short time. Divorce is never easy.

I'm sorry you're having trouble. She's unhappy..probably with a lot more than just you. If it wasn't the tattoo, I'm sure it would be a million other things you do or don't do that made her unhappy. If you take care of your girls, and treat women with respect, then you're the hottest thing on the market. Tattooed guys very attractive and that's coming from someone who doesn't have any! I think its soooooooooooooooo cute that u got a tattoo for your daughters!!! it shows ur dedicated to your family its just a shame your wife didnt see it that way! As a happily married(and newly tattoo'd) woman married to a tattoo'd(forgive my spelling) guy, with a young daughter, I have to tell you , my husband had two when we met and it never even crossed my mind as a consideration when we were dating. He is planning his next, in honor of our daughter! If a woman has a problem with something like that, then why the hell would you want to date her? Someone that superficial is not someone I would want around my child anyway. Just focus on your kids(we love that in a man) and be true to who you are. The rest will work itself out. If your wife cant get past the fact that you did the tatto as a very highly symbolic gesture towards something she created with you(your daughters)then she needs some serious help. i hope it works out for you in the end. oh and what ever you do dont get that tattoo covered it sounds like your a good dad with alot of respect for your children.

Again, thanks to all of you. I'd say that there are some reallly good people out there. Gives me strength to hit this situation head on, be proud of who I am, and realize that the best thing I can do for my girls is be their protector, and father. Which is exactly what I intend to do. They'll grow up realizing that a guy with art was there for them every single moment of their lives. I love that one quote about the difference between tattooed people and plain people though!!!!!
