working female artists

i had a question, im 2 yrs into the industry and im 25 yo female. im getting married in about a year and want to have 1 kid. so i imagine about a year and a half i will be needing time off work if all goes right, my question is to those girls out there how did you do the work and do the mom thing? i have been thinking about it and from what ive been reading it would be good to stay at home til the kids about 1.5 years old and can go to daycare, is that what you did? i find it hard to imagine not tattooing for a couple years (pregnancy term included) , but im trying to be logical, do you just suck it up for 1 and a half years before going back? did you work all the way through it? can you share your stories with me or have ideas
