Young Scratcher better than a Pro??!!!

Ok there is this kid that lives like a street away from me and he is only like 18 and haves a small studio in his house that he tattoos illegaly. He does amazing work and only started like a month ago! I have seen this bio-mechanic he have done to my friend's leg and its crazy! Im actually thinking of getting one from him since his real good, should i get it? This is his website with some of his artwork that he did ( http://www.wix.com/rubenv/fine-art-by-vera ) he tells me thats all the artwork he did during high school. So should I get tattoo by him?

i looked at the site.if this artist is that good or as good as you say then why are they not in a shop? or have there own shop.also nothing is stated as far as sterile issues go and such.what is the aftercare,proper cross contamination barriers in place BBP certified? if this is truly his art on the site he should be in a reputable shop

Yeah it is his artwork he haves it in his little home studio and the crazy thing about it is that website is old he never updated it since his junior year. most of that work was done when he was 16 or 17. But he haves even better work at his home that you cant see! Well the reason he tells me why he dosent work in shop is cause no one wants to take him and its hard for him to convice them to appretnice him since he works full time and goes to college full time. But he still wnats to be apprentice, and trust me he does everthing clean and safe I seen him work. But he wont tattoo me now since I am 17 and told me to wait till I was 18. One other reason that 'I' believe is hard for him to get a apprentice is because avrage tattoo artists find him as a threat ( in my opinion )

I know a Ruben Vera and this looks alot like his artwork...The guy i know owns a art studio in New York..kinda fishy here..

LOL this guy is actually In Houston Texas, and im pretty sure he doesnt own a shop his two young to own one
